This Privacy Policy explains how John Steinmetz ("we," "us," or "our"), based in North Carolina, USA, handles information in connection with the Print Forge mobile application for iPhone (the "App"). Print Forge is designed to work entirely on your device: scans, models, and project files stay local unless you explicitly share them yourself.

a. Camera and LiDAR data. With your permission, the App accesses your iPhone camera and LiDAR sensor to capture depth data, RGB frames, and AR mesh geometry. This data is processed entirely on-device to produce 3D models. Nothing captured by the camera or LiDAR sensor is transmitted to us or any third party.
b. Photo library access (optional). If you choose to import photos for photogrammetry-based scanning, the App requests access to your photo library. You control which photos are shared with the App; no photos are uploaded to our servers.
c. Project and model data. Scan sessions, 3D models, cleanup history, export files, and project settings are stored on your device in the App's sandbox. We do not sync, upload, or read this data.
d. Purchase and subscription data. When you subscribe, our payments partner RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier, your purchase and receipt data, and standard device metadata (such as country, device model, and OS version) to manage your "Print Forge Pro" entitlements. Apple processes the actual payment; we never receive your payment card details. Your anonymous identifier is visible in the App as your Support ID.
e. Diagnostic information. We may receive limited, non-identifying technical information through Apple and RevenueCat — for example, crash reports and purchase analytics — to keep the App functioning correctly.
We use information to: process scans and produce 3D models on your device; manage subscriptions and Pro feature access; provide customer support; and comply with applicable law. We do not use your scan data or model files for any purpose beyond operating the App on your device.
All scan data, 3D models, and project files are stored locally in the App's sandbox on your device. They are not backed up to our servers and are not accessible to us. If you delete the App, all local data is permanently removed.
We share information only as needed to operate these services:
We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own marketing.
We are based in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, limited data (purchase metadata via RevenueCat) may be processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information.

All scan and model data is retained locally on your device until you delete it or remove the App. Anonymous purchase records are retained as long as needed to provide subscriptions and as required by Apple and applicable law.
To delete your data, delete the App — all local scan and project files are removed permanently. To delete purchase records associated with your anonymous identifier, email support@steinmetzlabssupport.zohodesk.com with your Support ID (visible in the App settings).
Your scan data never leaves your device through our systems. Purchase data is transmitted to RevenueCat over encrypted connections (TLS). No transmission method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Print Forge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.
