Nothing in this App — including P&L summaries, statistics, analytics, or any other output — constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading recommendations, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProfitGrid (the "App"), developed by John Steinmetz. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
ProfitGrid is a personal trade logging, P&L tracking, and journaling application designed for individual use by active traders. It is intended solely for personal informational and organizational purposes. It is not a brokerage, investment platform, financial planning service, or regulated financial tool of any kind.
READ CAREFULLY. BY USING PROFITGRID, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding legal contract to use the App. By using ProfitGrid, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that you will use the App only for lawful purposes.
You are solely responsible for all trade data you enter into the App, the accuracy of that data, and any decisions made based on statistics or summaries generated by the App. John Steinmetz does not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations, P&L figures, performance metrics, or other outputs generated by the App.
Some features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date through Apple's subscription management.
Payments are processed by Apple using your Apple ID. John Steinmetz does not store payment card information. Subscription entitlements are managed using RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous, app-scoped device identifier — no trade data, financial records, or personally identifying information is shared with RevenueCat. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
To cancel: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ProfitGrid → Cancel Subscription.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, distribute, or create competing products based on this App.
ProfitGrid, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by John Steinmetz and protected by intellectual property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your use of ProfitGrid is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOHN STEINMETZ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY P&L FIGURES, CALCULATIONS, OR STATISTICS ARE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JOHN STEINMETZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: FINANCIAL LOSSES, TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP, INABILITY TO USE THE APP, OR RELIANCE ON ANY DATA, STATISTIC, OR OUTPUT PROVIDED BY THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless John Steinmetz from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your investment or trading decisions, or your violation of these Terms.
ProfitGrid relies on Apple App Store, Apple iCloud / CloudKit, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or outages.
These Terms are between you and John Steinmetz only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In case of App Store warranty failure, Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple is not responsible for product liability, regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims related to the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
