Drag and drop a screenshot from Finder onto the canvas, or click File → Import Screenshot and select your image. PixelPlacard will automatically detect the device size if the filename follows standard iOS Simulator naming.
PixelPlacard supports all current App Store screenshot sizes for iPhone (6.9", 6.5", 5.5") and iPad (13", 12.9"). Use Export → All Sizes to generate the full set at once.
Select your canvas in the sidebar, then click the Text tool in the toolbar. Click anywhere on the canvas to place a text layer. Use the Inspector on the right to change font, size, and color.

If you see a security warning, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to the PixelPlacard entry. This is a standard macOS gatekeeper prompt for apps from the App Store outside of the identified developer list.
Make sure you import screenshots at the correct @3x or @2x resolution for the target device. PixelPlacard does not upscale images. Export using the PNG format for best quality.
